This is a 1099 independent contractor sales role, not employment. Commission-based with optional 90-day draw. You're responsible for your own taxes, vehicle, and expenses. Full contractor agreement signed at onboarding.

Sales rep questions
Is this commission-only or is there a base?
Commission-based, with an optional 90-day draw to smooth your ramp. Most reps move to full commission as soon as the pipeline kicks in — commission is uncapped, so you make more that way.
How are leads provided?
Leads come from our online estimator, Google Ads, referrals, and partner channels. They dispatch to you in the Signo app — you schedule, drive to the home, measure, quote, and close.
Do I have to take every lead?
No — claim what you want. But declining leads repeatedly will drop your priority tier. Top-rated reps get first pick of the juicier jobs.
Can I sell for other home services companies?
Yes — we're non-exclusive. Keep selling HVAC, roofing, landscaping, insurance. Just don't sell painting for a direct competitor in our service area.
When does commission pay out?
Half on signed contract + client deposit (usually 50%), half on job completion. Everything tracks in Signo — you always see what's owed, what's paid, and what's pending.
Do I need sales experience?
Helpful but not required. We train. If you've done real estate, insurance, solar, roofing, or any in-home sales, you'll be up to speed fast. If you haven't, we look for the intangibles (listening, work ethic, coachability) and ride-along with you until you're closing.
